Welcome to Stayic. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Stayic's platform, services, and website. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Service Description

Stayic provides a property management and booking platform designed specifically for short-term rental operators, vacation rental owners, and hospitality businesses. Our platform enables you to:

• Create embeddable booking widgets that integrate directly into your property website
• Manage property calendars, availability, and pricing across multiple platforms
• Process guest bookings, payments, and reservation management
• Automate guest communications throughout the booking lifecycle
• Synchronize with existing booking platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, etc.)
• Access property performance analytics and revenue management tools

Important: Stayic is a booking management platform and technology provider. We are not a booking agent, property manager, or party to any rental agreements between property owners and guests.

Property Owner Responsibilities

As a property owner using our booking management platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate property information, photos, and descriptions
• Maintain current availability calendars and pricing information
• Honor all confirmed bookings made through our platform
• Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding short-term rentals
• Obtain necessary licenses, permits, and insurance for your rental property
• Handle guest relations, property maintenance, and check-in/check-out processes
• Respond promptly to booking inquiries and guest communications
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and booking data

Payment Processing and Financial Terms

Our platform facilitates booking payments between guests and property owners:

• Platform Fees: Subscription fees are charged monthly or annually in advance
• Payment Processing: Guest payments are processed through our secure payment partners
• Payout Schedule: Property owner payouts follow your configured schedule (typically 24-48 hours after guest check-in)
• Transaction Fees: Payment processing fees are deducted from guest payments before payout
• Refunds: Refund policies are determined by property owners; platform fees may apply to processing refunds
• Tax Compliance: Property owners are responsible for all applicable taxes on rental income
• Chargebacks: Property owners are liable for chargeback fees and associated costs

Important: Stayic acts as a payment facilitator only. We do not guarantee payment collection and are not responsible for guest payment defaults or disputes.

Platform Relationship and Disclaimers

Technology Platform Only: Stayic is exclusively a booking management software platform. We are not:

• A property management company or booking agent
• Party to any rental agreements between property owners and guests
• Responsible for property conditions, safety, or legal compliance
• A guarantor of booking payments or property owner performance
• Liable for guest behavior, property damage, or booking disputes

Third-Party Integrations: Our platform integrates with third-party services (Airbnb, VRBO, payment processors, etc.). We are not responsible for the performance, availability, or policies of these external services.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our booking management platform only for legitimate short-term rental operations and not to:

• List illegal properties or engage in unlawful rental activities
• Discriminate against guests based on protected characteristics
• Upload false, misleading, or inaccurate property information
• Violate local zoning laws or short-term rental regulations
• Interfere with platform functionality or other users' accounts
• Attempt to circumvent payment processing or fee structures
• Use the platform to facilitate non-rental transactions

Intellectual Property

The Stayic service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Stayic, Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you upload to our service, but you grant us a license to use, modify, and display such content as necessary to provide our services.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of our service, to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your information.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

MAXIMUM LIABILITY LIMIT: In no event shall Stayic's total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed ZERO DOLLARS ($0).

Specifically, Stayic, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Lost bookings, cancelled reservations, or guest no-shows
• Property damage caused by guests or third parties
• Payment processing failures, chargebacks, or payment disputes
• Calendar synchronization errors or double-bookings
• Platform downtime, technical malfunctions, or service interruptions
• Loss of rental income, profits, or business opportunities
• Guest complaints, negative reviews, or reputational damage
• Legal compliance issues or regulatory violations
• Data loss, security breaches, or unauthorized access to accounts
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

Property Owner Acknowledgment: You acknowledge that property rental involves inherent risks and that Stayic provides booking management technology only. You assume all risks associated with property rental operations.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Your continued use of our service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
